The stables are set only 10 Km from the sandy beaches of the Atlantic Ocean. The ride will take you into the hills that give you panoramic views over the country side and coast line. You will have full contact with the forest of the Serra de Grândola where the famous cork trees have grown for centuries in one on the touched environments of Portugal.

If you prefer you can hacking out on the beach or Melides lagoon and feel the strength and unique beauty of the Atlantic at your feet. The Aberta Nova farm is a farm that as biological agriculture, and also aquaponics, combining conventional aquaculture with hydroponics in a symbiotic environment. Come and visit the biological agriculture, and learn a little bit more of one of the healthiest methods to produce food.
